Bride's who have the perfect wedding in mind need to consider two things. First what is my style. Second what will I think in five, ten, or even twenty years down the road. Back in the 80's when most of my friends as well as myself were married.
I was so excited at the fact that I could have pink at my wedding. Needless to say now I look back at my wedding pictures ......ugh pink dressed and grey tuxedos. What was I thinking, I wasn't I was so excited to have a wedding I let everyone make decisions for me. Trying to be the pleasing person I am I just let everyone make my decorating choices. I even had a xylophone for my music. Can you believe what I let people talk me into.
This is what I am talking about fad colors, and styles. My friends choose beautiful, elegant and classic flowers and colors. Looking back at their weddings I can see where the Classic vs Fad choices fall into place.
Make your choices with the future in mind. When you look back you will be pleased if you made a choice that is you, your style. If you let people talk you into what their desires are for their taste you will have some regret. Stand up for yourself, make choices that will fit your personality.
